THE A65 has reopened after a collision involving a red Honda motorcycle and a black Audi car earlier this morning.
Emergency services were called to scene near Draughton at around 8.22am today.
The motorcyclist ended up in a ditch and was tended to by paramedics before being taken to hospital by air ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
The occupants of the Audi were not injured.
The section of road was closed to traffic while police investigated the scene and to allow for the vehicles to be recovered. The road fully re-opened at 10am.
