FOLLOWING the success of previous years, the Langcliffe Singers will host another Come and Sing event at Christ Church, Skipton.
It will take place next Saturday, February 27, and proceeds will go the Rathmell Church roof fund. On this occasion, the work to be performed will be Handel's Messiah.
For a fee of £10, singers from all over the Craven area and beyond are invited to come and rehearse the music in the afternoon, and then complete the day with a performance in the evening.
The event will be conducted by the Langcliffe Singers’ musical director, Nigel Waugh and soloists will be members of the choir. Organist will be Adam Parrish.
If you are interested in attending this event, email david.j.gooch@btinternet.co.uk or call 01729 850886.
Tickets for the evening performance are priced at £10 and are available from Cave and Crag, Bentham Post Office, Skipton Camera Centre and on the door.
