A STALL at Gargrave Village Hall's regular arts and craft event raised £232 for The Pahar Trust which builds schools in remote areas of Nepal.
One year on from the devastating earthquake, rebuilding of schools is well under way.
Thousands of people lost their lives and thousands more were injured in a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal's capital Kathmandu and its surrounding areas on April 25, 2015.
The earthquake was followed by a large number of aftershocks, which caused further devastation.
Fundraiser Julie Cawood said: "Prince Harry's recent visit to Nepal has given the country a great boost and helped keep their profile high. More money is desperately needed to help these children get back into school. Support for fundraising events like the one in Gargrave has been fantastic."
