A TALK exploring the inspiration behind Charlotte Brontë's works will be given next month.
Sue Newby, from the Brontë Parsonage Museum at Haworth, will examine the idea that much of Charlotte's writing had its origins in events and characters from her own life.
The illustrated talk, Charlotte Brontë: The Stories Behind The Stories, is at Skipton Library at 7.30pm on September 14.
It forms part of the library's commemorations marking the bicentenary of Charlotte's birth.
Tickets are available, priced £4, from the library.
