A fire crew from Skipton attended a car fire in the town in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at Rombalds Drive at 12.44am.
The fire involved a Ford Focus.
Fire, heat and smoke damage was caused to the engine compartment and remainder of the car.
The cause is believed to be an electrical fault.
Fire crew used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.
