Sir Matthew John Anthony Wilson, the seventh baronet of Eshton Hall, has paid a return visit to the ancestral home that he last saw at the age of 11.
He was accompanied by his wife Lady Janet Wilson on the visit, which was organised by Marie Chapman, of Poppyfields Flower Shop, Gargrave.
The couple live in Vermont, USA.
Eshton Hall is now a luxury housing development and Sir Matthew and his wife were invited into one of the apartments - where Queen Mary stayed overnight on her way to Balmoral - by residents Ronald and Ginette Smallwood.
The couple were then taken on a drive, arranged by Veronica Trueman and Diana Kaneps, which took in the stables and walled garden in the wood, Eshton House - known as the Dowager House - Friars Head, Calton Hall and Town End Farm, Airton.
They also explored St Andrew's Church at Gargrave and took photographs of plaques and family graves.
