FIRE crews were called to Kildwick at 10.30pm on Wednesday (December 27) after a canal boat caught fire.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Skipton and neighbouring brigade appliances Silsden and Keighley responded to a canal boat on fire.
"All persons were safely out of the boat upon our arrival. Crews used buckets of water and a light portable pump to extinguish the fire. The cause is still under investigation."
