A SKIPTON couple and their family mingled with a host of stars from Coronation Street when their son married an actress from the show.
Mike and Joan Wormald's son, Jon, wed Julia Haworth, who plays butcher's wife Claire Peacock.
They tied the knot at St Stephen's Church in Julia's home town of Burnley.
A number of the show's stars were invited to the wedding, in-cluding Kate Ford, who plays Tracy Barlow, and Steven Arnold, who plays Julia's on-screen husband, Ashley.
The bride, who is 26, was re-cently in Skipton to open the town's Waterways Festival.
She wore an ivory Victorian-style wedding gown which she and her mother, Valerie, co-designed.
She was given away by her father, Peter, and was attended by school friend Kelly Hammond and university flat-mate, Sarah Drasutis. They wore long red evening gowns.
It was Sarah who introduced the couple.
A 28-year-old accountant, Jon grew up in Skipton and went to Ermysted's Grammar School.
He chose friends James Thackray and Adam Mitton as his best men and his brothers, Paul and Simon, and Julia's brother, Paul, acted as ushers.
The couple held their reception at Towneley Hall, also in Burnley.
They honeymooned in Florida and will live in Manchester.
