(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) (BRIDLEWAY NO. 17 (part) and BRIDLEWAY NO. 6 (part), AUSTWICK) ORDER 2013 No. 2 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended) Notice is hereby given that the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority has made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along part of Bridleway No. 17 and part of Bridleway No. 6 in the Parish of Austwick, in the district of Craven for a distance of approximately 295 metres from 4 March, 2013 until 19 August, 2013 inclusive. The closure will be put into effect when necessary by means of the erection of notices and signs. It is envisaged that the works will be undertaken within six months. The Order is necessary because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Bridleway by Morrison Utility Services on behalf of Yorkshire Water to replace the water mains in the hamlet of Wharfe. The alternative routes to be used during the closure period will be as follows:- For Bridleway No. 17 From point of closure at SD 7817 6970 head generally south westerly along the walled bridleway for approx. 700 metres to join the Austwick to Helwith Bridge county road at GR SD 7777 6922. Continue east along the road for approx. 830 metres to the junction with the bridleway at SD 7846 6949, turning generally north, north westerly along the bridleway for approx. 100 metres to point of closure at SD 7842 6957 and return. For Bridleway No. 6 From point of closure at SD 7826 6964 head south along the bridleway for approx. 450 metres to join the Austwick to Helwith Bridge county road at GR SD 7810 6925, continue east along the road for approx. 485 metres to the junction with the bridleway at SD 7846 6949. Bearing generally north, north westerly continue for approx. 280 metres passing the junction with the bridleway at SD 7842 6957 before joining another bridleway junction at SD 7830 6967. Turn north west for approx. 90 metres to a bridleway junction at SD 7823 6972 before bearing southerly for approx. 80 metres to point of closure at SD 7825 6966 and return.
