Clapham Burn Moor and Clapham Common Parish

Clapham-cum-Newby District of Craven County of North Yorkshire The Ingleborough Estate has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry our restricted works on Clapham Burn Moor and Clapham Common. The proposed works are fencing and the length will be 3,140 metres. The fencing will be located along the boundary between Clapham Burn Moor and Clapham Common and will include stiles and gates for access. The application is supported by Natural England and will help the management of sheep numbers through a Higher Level Environmental Stewardship Scheme. A copy of the application form and map showing the proposed works can be inspected at the Ingleborough Estate Office between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm weekdays (not public holidays) until the 18th June 2013. Any objections or representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to the Planning Inspectorate at Room 4/05, Kite Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN or CommonLandCasework@pins.gsi.gov.uk. Letters sent to the Planning Inspectorate cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
