Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011

The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft Pastoral Church Buildings Scheme which includes provision for the parish church of Saint Margaret, Bentham to be declared closed for regular public worship. A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected at the churches of St Margaret, Bentham; St John the Baptist, Bentham; St Mary, Ingleton; St Leonard, Chapel-le-Dale; St Oswald, Thornton-in-Lonsdale; and All Saints, Burton-in-Lonsdale. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners’ website at

or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours by applying to me. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request.
