YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY

YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (GENERAL PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT) ORDER 1995 AS AMENDED NOTICE OF DIRECTION UNDER ARTICLE 4(1) TO WHICH ARTICLE 5 APPLIES

NOTICE is hereby given that on 8th January 2014 the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority made a Direction (“the Direction”) under article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development ) Order 1995 (“the Order”) The Direction applies to all land within the administrative boundaries of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority The Direction removes permitted development rights for the type of development specified in the Schedule to this Notice from the date on which the Direction comes into force. Planning Permission will be required for this type of development from the date when the Direction comes into force.A copy of the Direction (including a map defining the area covered) together with supporting documentation can be viewed on the Authority’s website: www.yorkshiredales.org.uk/planning/planningpolicy/Article4direction Copies are also available for viewing during normal office hours (8.30am -5pm Monday –Thursday , 8.30am -4.30pm Friday) at the Authority’s offices at Colvend, Hebden Road, Grassington BD23 5LB and Yoredale, Bainbridge DL8 3EL.Representations may be made concerning the Direction between 8th January 2014 and 28th February 2014. If you wish to make representations you may do so by email (Article4.Consultation@yorkshiredales.org.uk) or by post to Planning Policy officer, YDNPA , Yoredale, Bainbridge, North Yorkshire, DL8 3EL . Any representation must be received by 4.30pm on Friday, 28th February 2014. The Direction will come into force, subject to confirmation by the Authority, on 19th January 2015. DATED: 8th January 2014 SCHEDULE Development consisting of a change of use of a building and any land within its curtilage from use as an agricultural building to a flexible use falling within either Class A1 (shops) ,Class A2 (financial and professional services), Class A3 (restaurants and cafes), Class B1(business), Class B8 (storage or distribution), Class C1(hotels) or Class D2 (assembly and leisure) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning ( Use Classes)Order 1987 being development comprised within Class M of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the said Order and not being development comprised within any other Class.
