PUBLIC NOTICE

We are currently evaluating the feasibility of siting an additional small-scale wind turbine at West Thornber Farm, Wigglesworth, Skipton, BD23 4RS. (The Grid reference for the turbine position is E 328087, N 549358) The proposed turbine is a Wind Technik Nord 250kW Wind Turbine with a 30m hub height and 45m tip height. In accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2010, we are required to seek the views of the local community prior to submitting an application for a wind turbine. In this respect, we would welcome any constructive comments (whether positive or negative) that you may wish to make so that we can understand any material planning concerns and consider any possible mitigation as part of the planning application. The Government legislation requires any responses to be submitted to ourselves.
