Notice of Application to Vary a Premises Licence

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Take notice that JD Wetherspoon plc has made an application under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003 to vary a premises licence for The Devonshire, 22 Newmarket Street, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 2JB. The application is to vary the premises as detailed below - To vary the condition at Annex 3 of the Premises Licence relating to door supervisors to now nread as follows - "Save in exceptional circumstances or otherwise agreed with the Police two persons registered with the Security Industry Authority should be continually present at the premises in order to supervise and monitor access and exits to all bar areas and in particular, one of them should continuously monitor the beer garden (whilst the beer garden is open) and Devonshire Mews from the hours of 08.00pm on Saturday nights until closing time. *The postal address of the relevant licensing authority is set out below and a record of the application may be inspected there during normal office hours or at www.cravendc.gov.uk at any time.

Anyone who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to the Licensing Section, Craven District Council, Licensing Team, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ. Written representations must be received no later than 8th October 2014.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application which, upon conviction, carried a maximum fine of £5,000.
