YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION Of A PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH HQ. 6. HAWKSWICK DIVERSION ORDER 2014

On 1 October. 2014. the Yorkshire Dales National Park Auhority confrrned the above Order made under Secton 119 of the Highways Act 1980
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from a point approximately 400 metres south east from Hawkswick Bridge and east of The Bungalow curtilage at Grid Reference SD 9580 7010, north west passing close t the south side of the building for a distance of approximately 80 metres to Grid Reference SD 9575 7016 onto a line running parallel and starting at Grid Reference SD 9580 7010, west, north westerly crossing the access track and following the fence line, outside the curtilage, north westerly to a field gate and continuing north, north westerly to Grid Reference SD 9575 7016, as shown on the Order map.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Office at Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 3EL until 28 November, 2014. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained there and at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority Office at 'Colvend', Hebden Road, Grassington, Skipton BD23 5LB, free of charge.

The Order comes into force on the 1 October 2014, but if a person agrgrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirements of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 16 October, 2014, make an application to the High Court.
