STOPPING UP OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 05.26/33 AND 05.26/84, RAYGILL FARM,
INGLETON NOTICE OF HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that North Yorkshire County Council, being the highway authority for the County of North Yorkshire, intends to apply to the Magistrates' Court for the Harrogate and Skipton Local Justice Area sitting at Skipton Magistrates' Court, The Court House, Otley Street, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 1RH at 10.00 am on 13 April 2015 for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 to authorise the stopping up of two sections of highway, namely Public Footpaths 05.26/33 and 05.26/84 at Raygill Farm, Ingleton in the District of Craven, on the ground that they are unnecessary. The effect of the Order will be to extinguish the public highway rights over the routes in question - two new sections of footpath will however be dedicated as rights of way under a concurrent Creation Agreement.
A plan showing the proposed sections of footpath to be stopped up and the new sections to be created has been deposited at Ingleton Library, Ingleborough Community Centre, Main Street, Ingleton, Carnforth, Lancashire LA6 3HG and may be inspected there free of charge during normal office hours.
