(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
& TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5T WEIGHT RESTRICTION) VARIOUS ROADS, SKIPTON ORDER 2015 NO 248
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)

North Yorkshire County Council intends to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using the following locations in Skipton, and temporary suspension of the 7.5T weight restriction on Raikes Road and Grassington Road, Skipton in the District of Craven due to gas mains replacement:
Water Street, Skipton. From its junction with Mill
Bridge to its junction with Coach Street in a south
westerly direction only.
Elliot Street, Skipton
Back 'O' the Beck, Skipton
Castle View Terrace, Skipton
St Stephens Close, Skipton
Prospect Place, Skipton
Primrose Hill, Skipton
Park Street, Skipton
The maximum duration of the order will be from 10th August 2015 to 10th August 2016 inclusive however it is envisaged that the works will be undertaken within the below timescales. The closures will be put into effect by notices and signs and local alternative routes will be signed on site.
1. Water Street, Elliot Street and Back 'O' The

Beck - Expected from 10th August to 30th
August 2015.
2. Castle View Terrace and St Stephens Close and its junctions with Prospect Place and Primrose Hill- Expected from 2nd September to

27th September 2015.
3. Primrose Hill and Park Street - Expected 10th August to 30th August 2015.

Pedestrian access to premises on or adjacent to the road or only accessible from the road will be maintained at all times.
Vehicular access to premises on or adjacent to the road or only accessible from the road will be maintained whenever possible.
