Notice of Confirmation of a Definitive Map Modification Order The Definitive Map and Statement for the District of Craven (Outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Footpaths 05.37/44 and 05.37/45 and 05.37/46 Middletown Recreation Ground, Skipton Modification Order 2015

On 14 October 2015 North Yorkshire County Council confirmed the above named Order.
The effect of the confirmed Order is to modify the Definitive Map by adding three footpaths across Middletown Recreation Ground, Skipton as follows: a footpath commencing between Nos. 17 & 19 Pinhaw Road rising up a stepped path then crossing the recreation ground to an exit from the ground adjacent to No.5 Roughaw Road and continuing down to Roughaw Road; a footpath from the top of the stepped path bearing north-easterly across the recreation ground to connect to Public Footpath 05.37/14; and a footpath from Pinhaw Road following a tarmac path along the eastern boundary of the recreation ground to connect to
Public Footpaths 05.37/13 and 05.37/14 near the railwayline.
A copy of the confirmed Order and Order Maps may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Skipton Library, North Yorkshire, BD23 1JX, North Yorkshire until 17 December 2015. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from WACS, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2 or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. If any person aggrieved by the confirmed Order wishes to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the power of Section 53 of the above-named Act, or that any requirement of Schedule 15 of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, within 42 days of the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court under Schedule
15(12) to the Act.
