NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
(OTLEY STREET AND ROPE WALK, SKIPTON)
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Otley Street and Rope Walk, Skipton, in the District of Craven, for a temporary period of 10 weeks commencing 4th January 2016 until 18th March 2016 (subject to access to premises), due to gas mains replacement - the closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate.
The maximum duration of the order will be from 4th
January 2016 to 3rd July 2016 inclusive, however it is
envisaged that the works will be undertaken as follows:
Otley Street, Skipton. From High Street to Court Lane -
Expected 4th January 2016 for 5 weeks
Rope Walk, Skipton. From Otley Street to Albion Place -
Expected 1st February 2016 for 1 week
Otley Street, Skipton. From Court Lane to Bunkers Hill -
Expected 8th February 2016 for 4 weeks
