NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES EXCEPT FOR ACCESS) (UNCLASSIFIED ROAD IN36G (TURBARY ROAD), THORNTON IN LONSDALE) ORDER 2016

NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) and 3(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from driving along unclassified road IN36G (Turbary Road), Thornton in Lonsdale, from its junction with Tow Scar Lane (GR 676,763) to its junction with Kingsdale Road (GR 707,791), except for access to premises or land adjacent to that road in circumstances detailed in the said Order.
A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Ingleton Library, Ingleborough Community Centre, Main Street, Ingleton, Carnforth, Lancashire LA6 3HG during normal office hours from 18 February 2016 to 11 March 2016 and also viewed online at www.nort hyorks .gov.uk/notices.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to "Area 5 Highways Office, Snaygill Industrial Estate, Keighley Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 2QR" or by e-mail to area5.skipton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 11 March 2016.
