Another curtain raiser for the Moor Music Festival will be staged on Saturday.
Electro/house group Ocelot are playing at a festival social event at Skipton’s Rendezvous Hotel ahead of the main festival, which takes place at Heslaker Farm, Carleton, from August 12 and 15.
“Our aim is to bring a thriving music scene back to the North Yorkshire area,” said Sebastian Santabarbara, from Gorilla Ice Promotions, which is working alongside the festival team.
Also playing at the event will be local DJ Luke Pompey, who has been causing quite a stir on the dance music scene. Other support comes from local boys Digital Earth and Alt Track. Tickets cost £5 in advance from gorillaicemusic.co.uk or £6 on the door.
