GILL Christopher Derek (Kit) On 22nd August 2024, peacefully at home, Kit aged 61 years. Dearly loved dad of Ryan, Joshua and Samuel, devoted and best grandad of Charlie, Rosie, Jonah and Lyra, very dear brother, brother-in-law and friend of many. The funeral service and cremation will take place on Friday 20th September at Oakworth Crematorium at 10.00am.Will family and friends please assemble at the crematorium chapel. Family flowers only please but donations would be appreciated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service Charity. A collection box will be provided for this purpose or may be made online at www.gallagherfamilyfunerals.co.uk.

I am sorry I couldn't attend the funeral Kit. You were an absolutely top bloke. Always cracking jokes and spinning yarns and smiling. Always smiling. That's how I will remember you. A fantastic father and latterly, grandfather. I wish you had been my dad as I couldn't have had a better bloke in the role. You will be missed. I won't forget you mate. You helped me out with anything and going out of your way to help people was your genuine nature. The world is worse for you not being in it. Paul.
