David, aged 94, died peacefully on 2 November at Mayfield View Care Home, Ilkley. He lived an interesting and fulfilling life, a faithful partner to the late Roy. A good friend of Malcolm, his committed neighbours and many others in Ilkley and beyond. In the past, he was an active member of Ilkley U3A, Vice-Chairman of The Yorkshire Dales Society, High Sheriff of the County of Breconshire, author, painter, broadcaster and photographer.
The funeral service will take place at St Margaret's Church, Ilkley on Friday 29th November at 12 noon. No flowers please, donations if desired can be made to the Stroke Association. All enquiries to H Eaton and Sons, Ilkley 01943 607360
