AFTER the enormous success of last year’s first ever market in the village, Totally Locally Addingham are doing it all over again. This year the market will be on Saturday 29th November from 2.30pm in the car park area behind The Swan pub and will once again coincide with the switch on of the village Christmas lights. It promises to be another fantastic event with a range of local independent Addingham traders selling food, drink, gifts, arts and crafts, clothing and much more. Oh and there will be a very special visitor flying in from the North Pole to see us this year too!
‘The atmosphere last year was incredible,’ says Sarah Mayo, one of the event organisers, ‘So many people came and we had so much positive feedback that hopefully this will now become an annual event in the village calendar. It is a chance for everyone in the village to come together and celebrate everything that Addingham has to offer.
We are also running a raffle to raise funds to help cover the costs of running the market with some great prizes being donated by many of the businesses in the village. Tickets will be on sale at the market and are on sale in many of the shops in the village already. The raffle will be drawn at the lights switch on.
So please join in with the fun and festivities at our Christmas Market - do some Christmas shopping, see Father Christmas and drink some mulled wine.
