THE sounds of Christmas will be heard at Settle's Victoria Hall on Sunday.
Chorus Natus Est - which is known for bringing big works to small places - will lead a performance of Handel's Messiah.
Supported by Rural Arts, it will hold a "come and sing" workshop from noon to 6pm, where anyone can work with the choir ahead of a performance at the hall at 7pm.
The Messiah will be followed by some well known Christmas songs.
Hall manager Ann Harding said; "This is a great opportunity for choir members and community singers, individuals, families and friends, beginners and experienced alike, to join in. You don't need to have sung in a choir before, as there will be enough people who have to keep you on track."
Chorus Natus Est is known for recreating well-known, large-scale choral works, usually sung by hundreds, transforming them into unique renditions performed in intimate settings. Its informal performances step around the rules and conventions of choral music, bringing the music to locations and settings that are more accessible than traditional opera houses or theatres.
