PUPILS and businesses donned Christmas jumpers to raise money for children's charities.
Early years children at Settle CE Primary School and the whole of Burnsall Primary took part in national Christmas Jumper Day to raise money for Save the Children.
And local law firm AWB Charlesworth Solicitors also supported the initiative, but donated the proceeds to its charity of the year, Martin House Children's Hospice.
At Burnsall, Jumper Day also coincided with the school’s annual Christmas Fair, which was a resounding success raising around £300 for school funds.
