LYN’S Day - the annual end-of-season celebration at Cross Hills Tennis Club - raised more than £400 for Manorlands.
The event is held in memory of Lyn Ferguson, who died, aged 37, in early 2009 after a battle against cancer.
Instead of competitive tennis, this year's celebration included social tennis, target tennis, sumo tennis and speed serving.
The fastest serve on the day was 75mph, which was achieved by Dennis Roberts.
"The whole day was a huge success," said a club spokesman.
