POLICE in Skipton are warning people not to buy jewellery from street sellers.
A police spokesman said they had been informed sellers believed to be Eastern Europeans had been approaching shoppers with their wares.
He said: "If someone is selling jewellery on the street it's likely to be fake - don't go anywhere near it."
