TWO men have been killed in a head-on crash on the A65 near Austwick today.
The passenger of a car was confirmed dead at the scene and the driver died later in Lancaster Royal Infirmary.
A police spokesman said it was believed they were both local.
The other vehicle involved was a van. Two male occupants have been taken to hospital with less serious injuries.
The accident happened this morning and the road was closed for several hours.
