CHILDREN from across the area will be taking part in a concert to mark the end of a two-year Airedale Hospital appeal.
Next month's concert will celebrate the £155,000 raised for the hospital's children's unit.
Nine schools and dance groups who have helped raise the money, including Giggleswick Primary, Malsis School in Glusburn, and the Northern Dance Group in Skipton, will be taking part in the event.
Organiser Mike Yates, an Airedale New Venture volunteer, said: "This is our way of having a great end to all the hard work our volunteers and the local community have put in to raising money for our children's unit.
"The concert will be by children for children and we have so many local schools and dance groups taking part it will be a really fantastic event."
The appeal, launched two years ago by the Friends of Airedale and Airedale New Venture, has raised £155,000 to improve facilities in the children's unit.
A cheque will be presented to the Airedale NHS Trust at the concert.
The event will take place at the Victoria Hall, Keighley, on Saturday June 9 from 2.30pm.
Tickets are on sale at the Shaw Galleries, in Skipton, the Airedale Hospital shop in Outpatients and Reids Bookshop, in Keighley, or by telephoning the ticket line on 01535 294605.
