SKIPTON'S Water Street School is hoping it will be asked to perform Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in front of a star-studded audience.
The school choir has entered a competition as part of the BBC programme, Any Dream Will Do, which is searching for the male lead in a new West End production of the popular musical.
The winning choir - which will be selected by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber - will perform live on the final show of Any Dream Will Do.
And it will be invited to appear in the West End for a special Children In Need performance of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Water Street pupils have sent in their tape and choir auditions can be heard by visiting the website www.bbc.co.uk/joseph
