TWO women received severe bruising after they were kicked and punched during an alleged attack in Skipton.
Police have released details of the incident and appealed for witnesses.
The victims, aged 24 and 28 and from the town, were walking down the High Street with friends at 12.30am on Sunday morning.
Two men approached them and allegedly assaulted and verbally abused them.
Following this, two 20-year-old men from Skipton were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on police bail until June 1.
