SOUTH Craven School's 50th anniversary reunion disco is set to be a complete sell-out.

Almost all of the 450 tickets for the event at the Cross Hills school on June 22 have been snapped up by past students and teachers.

The event, which is being organised by assistant head teacher Mike Ashdown and two fundraisers from Manorlands Hospice, is a celebration of the school's achievements over the past 50 years.

It will also provide an opportunity for people to socialise with former school friends. Food and drink will be served and there will also be a disco.

The proceeds from the event will be donated to Manorlands Hospice.

Matthew Halliday, fundraiser for the Oxenhope hospice, said: "We have really enjoyed working with South Craven School on this event.

"It's great to see people so enthusiastic about their old school and so enthusiastic about sup-porting their local hospice"

Tickets are still available from the school reception or by calling 01535 640430. Alterna-tively e-mail Matthew Halliday at matthew.halliday@suerydercare.org
