A PUPIL of Settle Primary School is celebrating a successful entry in this year's British Accordion Championships in Scarborough.
Erin Cokell, nine, has only been learning the instrument for 14 months, but impressed judges to come third in the introductory solo event.
The competition was supported by the Cross Hills-based Craven School of Music. Erin received a certificate and trophy and said she was looking forward to competing again in the near future.
