ORIGINAL works of art will be for sale at Cononley Art Club's annual show over the May Bank Holiday.

Demonstrations, including painting with instant coffee, will also take place during the three-day event.

More than 100 paintings, from modern to traditional, will be included in the show at Cononley Institute. In addition, a demonstration on the use of pastels by Ruby Sedgwick and Janet Kirkham will take place on Saturday, while Sunday will see a demonstration on watercolours by Maurice Kettlewell.

Also on Sunday, Derek Stansfield will show people how to paint using instant coffee, and on Monday Muriel Smith will demonstrate fine watercolour work and Shelagh Powell will show mixed media.

The event, with free admission, will be open from tomorrow to Monday.
