A WOMAN has appeared before Burnley magistrates accused of stealing almost £700,000 from a Kelbrook firm.
Lorna Christine Farenden, 34, of Halifax Road, Nelson, was bailed until June 6 and her case will be heard at the crown court at a later date.
The defendant is charged with the theft of £647,833 belonging to Entre Prises (UK) Limited at Eden Works, Colne Road, Kelbrook, on or between February 13 2001 and May 16 2006.
She also faces an allegation that on or between October 5 2004 and January 15 2005 at Telford, she stole £27,662.72 from Gymnova (UK) Limited.
The company manufactures climbing walls.
