SKIPTON'S Gargrave Road Dental Practice is offering free check-ups to all Craven children as part of National Smile Month.
The theme of this year's initiative - which runs until June 12 - is "Two Minutes, Twice a Day" and focuses on how important brushing teeth correctly is for maintaining good oral health.
The campaign also aims to emphasise the impact a thorough oral health care routine has upon maintaining a healthy mouth and avoiding unnecessary dental problems.
Dr Andrew Bates, of the Gargrave Road Dental Practice, said: "It is essential that people develop good dental habits from an early age and that's why we have decided to offer all children in the Craven area a free check-up throughout National Smile Month.
"In addition we will also be offering a 25 per cent discount on all adult initial examination."
The Gargrave Road Dental Practice is a purely private dental practice. To find out more or to book a free appointment for your child, call the surgery on 01756 793264.
