A WOMAN was asked to keep her dog under control in Sutton-in-Craven by a man she believes could have been holding a knife.
A police spokeswoman said the 28-year-old complainant was walking her dog in woodland near Hall Drive at 3pm on Sunday.
Another dog walker ordered her to keep her animal under control. The victim thought he had some kind of sharp implement in his right hand.
The suspect was walking a "chunky" Jack Russell dog on a rope lead. He was white, in his 40s and 5ft 5ins tall. He was balding with light brown hair and wore a blue jacket and blue jogging bottoms.
Anyone who can identify him is asked to call Cross Hills police on 0845 6060247.
