ECLECTIC band Red Go Green Stop promoted the release of their first single on Friday with a home-coming gig in Skipton.
The five-piece, who have drawn comparisons with artistes ranging from Madness to the Clash, have attracted something of a cult following at their gigs in Leeds, Manchester and London.
With one of their music videos recently enjoying exposure on a Sky music channel, Red Go Green Stop released their debut single yesterday.
A tour to promote the double "A" side kicked off on Friday at Rendezvous Hotel's Rooder venue at 8pm.
It will be followed by a single release launch party at Carpe Diem in Leeds on Friday.
Three of the band members - drummer Gary Norris, base player Sanjodh Toor and rhythm guitarist Leigh Oliver - live in Barnoldswick but grew up in Skipton.
They went to Aireville School, where they formed their old band "Recess".
Two years ago, they formed the current line-up of Red Go Green Stop with lead vocalist and saxophonist Anna Hetherington and Mark Parvin on synthesiser.
