A FARM in Glusburn will host its first Hillbilly Honkytonk festival this weekend.
Glusburn woman Liz Nelson said: “My husband and I have organised a good old-fashioned country music shindig, with five live acts, food available, a bar, bucking bronco and selection of vintage boots for sale."
The live music spectacular opens at midday on Saturday at Manor House Farm, on Lothersdale Road.
Headline performers include The Ginjammers, the Dolly Parton Story and the Henry Smith Band, with local outfits Howlin’ Johnny And The Devils Rejects and Dale Country Ceilidh Band also performing.
The event will be held in a marquee and there is camping available.
Tickets cost £20 from GE Thorntons, Main Street, Cross Hills, the Hare and Hounds pub in Lothersdale or by calling 07984 521605. Children go free.
