THE Austwick Community Players will stage Golden Years, a celebration of 50 years of entertainment at the annual over 65s supper.
The Players take a fun look back to the start of this annual tradition which originally started with a supper for the over 60s.
Christine Hooley, chairman of Austwick Community Players, said: “The introduction in 1968 of entertainment, following the supper, will be celebrated in time-honoured style. The journey will also take us through the intervening years with a hilarious and nostalgic look at popular culture and events from the decades.”
Public shows will be held Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3, in Austwick Parish Hall. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets costing £6 or £2.50 for children are available from any of the Players or on the door. For more information ring 01729 822079.
