A SKIPTON optician is a finalist in awards which recognise business growth, commitment to the community and overall success in the optical industry.

It follows a three-year growth plan for Benjamin Opticians, which has seen investment in new equipment and a five-room extension built to the rear of its Newmarket Street premises.

The nomination for the Optician Awards 2019 puts Benjamin among the top opticians in the country. Owner Liz Ellis, pictured, said: “To be a finalist in the awards is recognition of our success in expanding the business and the team’s efforts to build a bigger Benjamin’s. We have worked hard to meet the needs of our patients and the new build means we now offer even better facilities.
