CRAVEN musician and environmentalist Sarah Smout is due to perform in Settle this weekend.
Sarah, from Cowling, will be performing 'Returning Home' at the home of Settle Stories, The Joinery, at 7pm on
Saturday (August 31).
Returning Home is a varied performance of poetry, lyrics and cello music, inspired by Sarah's musical voyage over Iceland, via Orkney, Shetland and The Faroes, and will be followed by a question and answer session.
She collected stories from people she met, watched for wildlife, saw the shape of the land and
used these experiences to inform her music.
Tickets are £14, or £12 online at: settlestories.org.uk/sarah-smout or by telephone
05603 845693.
