FANS of Game of Thrones will have a chance in Skipton on Saturday (September 7) to meet one of the actors - Wilf Scolding who played Rhaegar Targaryen, father of Jon Snow, in the hugely successful television drama series.
The actor, who also featured in Bees Make Honey and The Passing Bells and will be seen on television this Christmas in BBC’s ghost story, Martin’s Close, will be officially opening Chocolates and Truffles, which is moving across the High Street, to its new premises in Mount Pleasant, next to Alexander’s Bar and Kitchen.
In addition to acting, Wilf is a keen runner, and has just completed a marathon in aid of the charity Mary’s Meals, and is also a professional chef.
Wilf will be at Chocolates and Truffles from midday to 2pm when he will be chatting to Game of Thrones fans. There will also be discount vouchers and a raffle, with the chance to win homemade chocolates.
