KEEN walker Angela Beetham from Grassington is off to Morocco later this year to take part in a climbing challenge and raise money for the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
She will be climbing Mount Toubkal, an ascent of 13,671ft and a walk of 40km with the Yorkie Talkies - a walking group made up of people from across Yorkshire who enjoy the mountains and getting outside.
Angela, a member since the group first got together about two years ago, has completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks and climbed Kilimanjaro.
Last year, she completed the National Three Peaks with the group and raised £1,100 for UWFRA, part of the overall £4,000 raised by members for charities.
The Atlas Mountain Trek is due to take place from June 8 to June 13. Other members will be raising money for charities including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Sue Ryder Care.
