ELIZABETH Fullalove, a former Settle College and Skipton Girls High School student, is currently in Germany where she is appearing in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash hit musical Starlight Express.

Not only is she singing in German, but she also had to learn how to roller skate as the entire show is performed on skates.

Elizabeth, who has been performing to hundreds of guests in the theatre in Bochum, and will be there until June, covers various roles as a ‘swing’ including Wrench, Coco, Joule, Belle, Rocky III and and Volta.

After graduating from the Bird College in London with a first in professional dance and musical theatre, and following a couple of auditions, Elizabeth landed her place with Starlight Express in Germany, where it has been running for 31 years.

Elizabeth says she was helped to achieve her dream by being allowed to do PE A Level at Ermysted’s Grammar School, helping her get into the London school. Arlene Philips spotted Elizabeth’s talent for Starlight Express.
