A THIRD patient has died from cornavirus in the Airedale district, bringing the Bradford area total to five so far.
Yesterday's announcement by NHS England said two deaths have been announced by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The patients died on March 27 and 28.
The NHS also confirmed a further death at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust occurred yesterday.
Prior to that Airedale NHS Foundation Trust said two had died on March 26 and last weekend.
Yesterday, NHS England said a further 190 people had died in England, bringing the total in the country to 1,125.Throughout the UK, the number of deaths since yesterday rose by 209 to 1,228.
Infections had jumped by 2,483 to 19,522.
The NHS does not provide information about where the patients who died were from.
