POLICE are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage following a collision which occurred on the A59, Skipton, near to the Broughton Road junction earlier this month.
The incident happened at approximately 6.30am on Wednesday, March 3 and involved a White Ford Transit van overtaking an HGV near to the Broughton Road Junction, when the van caused damage to the HGV.
Both the HGV and the van were heading in the direction of the Little Chef roundabout (The A59/A65 Roundabout). It has been reported that the white van has driven on the wrong side of the road, head-on into oncoming traffic.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision and specifically if you were the driver of the vehicle which the van was driving head-on towards to come forwards. Any dashcam footage would also be appreciated.
