CHILDREN at Skipton’s Parish Church Primary School enjoyed the last day of term before the Easter holiday hunting around the school grounds for chocolate eggs.
The Easter eggs, which were kindly donated by the school’s Parent Teacher Association, were hidden in the playground, garden and play area for each class to enjoy.
The school, which will shortly be joining the Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust, which includes St Aidan’s CE High School, Harrogate, was recently inspected by Ofsted.
The monintoring report recognised the changes that have been made since the last inspection, two years ago when the school was rated inadequate, and acknowledged the strengths including leadership, the new curriculum and the well-trained inclusion team.
Leaders had structured a remote education offer for all year groups during Covid, said the report.
