PLANS to fit solar panels on the roof of Skipton Town Hall have been submitted to Craven District Council.
The council, which owns the building, is proposing to fit photovoltaic panels to the south facing roof of the newly refurbished concert hall.
Other applications most recently received by the council are: Installation of three ‘Sheffield’ style cycle hoops on the High Street setts behind the statue of Sir Mathew Wilson; Replacement of existing floodlighting at the Bowling Green, Rope Walk, Skipton; Conversion and extension of existing annexe to form holiday let accommodation at 81 Gargrave Road, Skipton; Replacement roof and raised wall height to south and east elevations at Park Mill, Brougham Street, Skipton. Construction of two detached dwellings with off street parking on land off Nan Scar, Cowling; Prior approval notification for change of use from office to one residential house at Woodland Street, Cowling; Construction of outdoor manege to south of Farfield Farm, Draughton.
